The Upper:

• Nike used a very padded synthetic material that was a bit thicker than most materials used at the time
• The extra padding was used for added power along with the extra large strike zone in the T90 series
• A new rubber element was introduced, again, covering a lot of surface area for a large strike zone

The Sole Plate:

• Nike used a hard plastic, see through material for the sole plate, it wasn't the lightest of materials, but over time it has proved to be incredibly durable
• This is the sg model, using 6 screw in aluminum tipped studs

• I think everyone who had the T90 thinks of playing like Wayne Rooney with this Laser III model
