The Upper:

• The newly designed upper featured the same material used in the CTR360, a Kanga Lite synthetic material
• The Kanga Lite became one of the greatest materials in terms of comfort, quality, and feel 
• Nike also added a "Performance Mesh" material with the Kanga Lite as part of their new design
• This is the Tech Craft model that featured a Leather upper material that was similar in terms of design, but had a slightly softer leather feel to them

The Sole Plate

• The sole plate was almost identical to the Tiempo Legend from this time
• A lightweight, yet durable plastic, one piece bottom was used

Notes and Comments:

• The magista Opus was released in 2014 and had big shoes to fill replacing the CTR line
  
• In the past several months, the Opus has had a major surge in popularity and is regarded as one of the most comfy and solid boots made in the past few years
