The Upper:

• The newly designed Predator LZ became the first Predator model to feature a full synthetic upper
• The second generation of the Lethal Zone had a similar strike area, but used dozens of "X" shaped rubber elements
• The Lethal Zone element created the largest strike zone out of any Pred yet
• The change to the synthetic upper also made the Lethal Zones very lightweight yet durable

The Sole Plate:

• Adidas changed from the iconic TRX design to a sole plate similar to the Adizero's sprint frame tech
• The sole plate was much thinner and lighter than the previous model, using triangular studs which was consistent with most Adidas models from this time
