The Upper:

• A premium calf leather upper material was used throughout the Absolion
• The same exact 3 part rubber vamp element as the Absolute was used on the Absolion
• A foldover tongue with an elastic band was used
• The Absolion used a softer and lighter heel cup compared to the Absolute

The Sole Plate:

• A 2 piece sole plate with a bladed TRX stud configuration was used
• Overall, the Absolions sole plate was made of a slightly thinner plastic material

Notes and Comments:

• The Absolion is very similar to the top model Pred Absolute, with many of the same characteristics
• It's amazing how identical and high quality the second tier Absolion model was compared to the top end model, one of the best mid tier boots ever made
• The main difference is the softer heel cup but it does not make much of a difference in terms of a locked in fit
