The Upper:

• Newly introduced from the Previous Predator model, the Absolute was the first Predator made with a synthetic Polyurethane upper
• Only the signature DB designs were made in the synthetic version
• The iconic fold over tongue with the elastic was continued as well
• Super unique accents inspired by Becks run throughout the boots, a signature DB touch that was only an option for Beckham to customize 

The Sole Plate:

• Continuing with the two piece sole plate, Adidas didn't change much from the Pulse model
• Adidas did offer a lightweight insole as well as an added PowerPulse insole, adding 40g to help improve power

Notes and Opinions:

• Beckham clearly preferred the synthetic upper.  Once it was introduced, he never went back to the leather uppers
• Nonetheless, it worked out great for everyone, it meant Adidas would now make their classic leather lines as well as a new synthetic upper line
• Not the most popular colorway Beckham ever made, but the customization throughout the boots is truly one of the most unique pairs made
